20 sleeping pills ingested by Origin Dairy CEO Sejal, attempts suicide

Hyderabad: Origin Dairy CEO Sejal made another suicide attempt on Thursday following the recent sexual allegations she made against BRS MLA Durgam Chinnaiah from Bellampalli, Mancherial district.
She was discovered unconscious on the footpath of Jubilee Hills Road and was subsequently taken to a hospital in Madhapur by the police. Recently, she lodged a complaint with the National Commission for Women and HRC in Delhi, seeking action against the MLA for sexual harassment.
This incident comes after her previous suicide attempt at Telangana Bhavan in Delhi on the 2nd of this month.
According to Jubilee hills police, Sejal arrived at the Dasapalla Hotel junction on Jubilee Hills Road on Thursday afternoon. She ingested approximately 20 unidentified pills and lost consciousness. Local residents alerted the police, who responded and rushed her to the hospital.
Upon searching her bag, police found around 60 pills and a letter. The letter revealed her emotional distress and constant fear for her life, expressing her struggles to fight alone without any support. It also mentioned her feelings of betrayal by the government.
Sejal's suicide attempt has garnered attention from various political figures.
Prajashanthi Party founder KA Paul, along with Congress leaders Sunitha Rao and Vijaya Reddy, visited her during her hospitalization.
