30 injured after RTC bus collides with lorry in East Godavari

Maredumilli: Thirty passengers, including the bus driver and conductor, were injured after an RTC bus collided with a lorry on Monday. The incident happened at the Maredumilli-Chinturu ghat road in East Godavari district.

According to sources, an RTC bus from Badrachalam that was heading towards Kakinda hit a lorry that was heading towards Chhattisgarh. The bus driver, Rama Krishna, and the conductor, Ramesh, along with many passengers were severely injured.

The injured people were shifted to Maredumilli primary health centre for first aid and were later shifted to Ramapachodavaram Hospital.

A case has been registered by the Maredumilli police.
