Hyderabad: A 32-year-old fashion designer allegedly died by suicide in her flat in the Gachibowli area of the city on Monday night.
The incident came to light when her roommate reached the apartment and noticed a foul odor emanating from the victim's room. She alerted the security guards who came to the flat and found the victim's body.
The security guards informed the police who arrived at the site and sent the woman's body to Osmania General Hospital for post-mortem. The police have registered a case and started an investigation. The reason for the suicide is still not known, they said.
"That case is under investigation. The woman die by suicide when her roommate was not in the apartment," said a police officer.
