5 men nabbed for attacking godown employee, items worth Rs. 5L recovered
By Newsmeter Network Published on 1 April 2021 12:15 PM GMTHyderabad: The sleuths of CCS LB Nagar along with the Balapur police arrested five persons on 1 April at Shivaji Chowk in Balapur and recovered items worth Rs. 5 lakh from them. Among the seized items were two gold chains, three mobile phones, three motorbikes, and cash worth more than Rs. 1 lakh.
The accused have been identified as Jakkula Balakrishna (24) of Nalgonda district, Kaveti Sridhar (27) and Podila Raju (27) of Saidabad in Hyderabad, Thippabathini Abhishek (20) of Yadadri district, and Pattem Ramesh (25) from Karimnagar.
Balakrishna was an employee at the Bhargavi gas godown. On 18 March, the five men attacked the godown in-charge, snatched the cash bag, and fled from the spot. Following a technical investigation, the CCS LB Nagar team and Balapur police with the help of IT cell, Rachakonda, nabbed the five persons on Thursday. They recovered Rs. 1,28,890 cash, two gold chains (3.25 tulas) worth Rs. 1,59,000, three motorbikes worth Rs. 2,50,000, and three mobile phones worth Rs. 20,000.
