Multiple crashes in AP and Telangana leave six dead, several injured

Hyderabad: Six people, including a child, were killed and several others injured in multiple road accidents reported from Andhra Pradesh and Telangana on Thursday.
Familyās trip turns tragic in Kurnool
In Andhra Pradeshās Kurnool district, three members of a family lost their lives when the Sports Utility Vehicle (SUV) they were travelling in rammed a tractor near Kalvabugga in Orvakal mandal.
Two of them, identified as Sheikh Kama Basha (50) and Munni (35), died on the spot, while three-year-old Sheikh Nadia succumbed to injuries at the Government Hospital in Kurnool.
The family was on their way from Hyderabad to Mydukur in YSR Kadapa district in a Scorpio vehicle when the accident occurred near Kasireddy Narayan Ashram.
Six others injured in the accident were admitted to the Government Hospital, with one of them stated to be in critical condition. Police have registered a case and launched an investigation.
Father and son-in-law die in Rangareddy crash
In Telanganaās Rangareddy district, two people died after the car they were travelling in collided with a truck at Kothur near Hyderabad late Wednesday night. One person died on the spot, while the other succumbed at a hospital. Both were residents of Jandagudem in Maheshwaram mandal.
Biker killed in Shankarpally accident
In another accident in Rangareddy district, a biker was killed and his pillion rider injured when their two-wheeler was hit by a Road Transport Corporation (RTC) bus near Lakshmi Reddy Guda Gate in Shankarpally mandal.
School bus catches fire, students safe
In a separate incident in the Sangareddy district, a private school bus caught fire near Kistareddypet. Fortunately, there were no casualties as the five students onboard managed to alight safely after the driver noticed smoke and stopped the vehicle. The bus was completely gutted before the fire engine arrived.
