Hyderabad: A gas cylinder leak in Hyderabad led to a devastating fire that left seven people injured, including three children. The incident took place in Rose Colony, Domalaguda, when a residential house caught fire due to a gas leak.
Promptly responding to the scene, firefighters and Domalaguda police successfully extinguished the fire. The National Disaster Response Force (NDRF) team and officials from the Indian Gas company visited the site to assess the situation and provide necessary assistance.
The injured were transported to Gandhi Hospital, where they are currently receiving medical treatment for their injuries. Tragically, the house involved in the accident was completely destroyed, resulting in significant property loss for the affected family.
Preliminary investigations revealed that a commercial gas cylinder regulator caused the accident. The fire could have been avoided if the appropriate domestic gas cylinder regulator was used.
