9 private buses gutted in fire in Ongole
According to the locals, nearly 20-30 private buses were parked in the Complex after the business took a hit due to the COVID-19 pandemic.

Hyderabad: Several private buses caught fire after a fire broke out at the Wood Complex in Ongole, Prakasam district, on Tuesday. According to the locals, nearly 20-30 private buses were parked in the Complex after the business took a hit due to the COVID-19 pandemic.
A few locals spotted the fire on Tuesday and contacted the authorities. Firefighters rushed to the scene. Initially, only four buses caught fire but it later spread to nine other buses. So far, nine buses have been gutted in the accident.
No casualties have been reported. The reason for the accident is currently not known. The company is trying to move the remaining buses from the area to avoid further damage.
