Academic Pressure: B.Com student die by suicide in Hyderabad
The student's father said that she was under depression due to her academic performance

Hyderabad: Just a few weeks after the Narsingi student suicide, another incident was reported with a 19-year-old girl who died by suicide in Balanagar, Hyderabad. A second-year Bachelor of Commerce student at the Government Girls Degree College in Begumpet took the extreme step allegedly due to academic pressure.
According to the Balanagar police, On March 8, the student's father, Narsing Rao, and his wife went to attend a wedding in their native Kottipalli in Vikarabad. When they returned the next evening, they found her daughter locked herself inside the room and was not responding to them.
When they tried to check through the window, she was found hanged. They broke down the door and took her to a nearby hospital, but the doctors declared her brought dead.
The student's father, who works as an attendant, said to the police that his daughter was unable to concentrate on her studies and was lagging behind. She is said to be under depression due to her academic performance.
Balanagar police have registered a case and are investigating the matter.
