ACB arrests govt employees in Peddapalli, Mancherial, Vikarabad for taking bribes
Hyderabad: Telangana Anti-Corruption Bureau (ACB) officials, in separate operations across Peddapalli, Mancherial and Vikarabad districts, caught three government employees for allegedly demanding and accepting bribes to process official work.
The employees included a mandal surveyor, a primary health centre staffer and a district collectorate employee.

Peddapalli mandal surveyor, private individual booked
The ACB has registered a case against Paindla Sunil, Mandal Surveyor of Peddapalli, and Katukuri Rajender Reddy, a private person, for allegedly demanding a Rs 10,000 bribe through PhonePe from a complainant.
The bribe was reportedly sought to provide the survey panchanama copy of land belonging to the complainant.
Mancherial PHC junior assistant trapped
In Mancherial district, Gadiyaram Srinivasulu, Junior Assistant at PHC Angaraajpalli and In-Charge of Kotapalli PHC, was caught red-handed by ACB officials while accepting Rs 6,000.
The bribe was allegedly demanded to prepare two DA arrear bills for the complainant and submit them to the DDO of Kotapalli PHC.
Vikarabad collectorate employee held
In another case, K Sujatha, Junior Assistant in the office of the District Collector, Vikarabad, was apprehended for allegedly demanding and accepting Rs 15,000.
The amount was purportedly sought to process land-related documents, including the complainantās motherās name in government land records, and forward the collectorās order to the Nawabpet Tahsildar office.
