ACB nabs four officials in Jangaon, RR, Sangareddy for taking bribe

Hyderabad: The ACB caught red-handed four government officials while they were taking bribes. The sleuths of the Anti-Corruption Bureau (ACB) conducted raids in multiple locations and cracked a whip on officials demanding bribes to execute official works.
Jangaon R&B department
At the Roads and Buildings (R&B) Department office in Jangaon District, the officials caught executive engineer Chilukapati Hussain and assistant technical officer Adavala Ravinder for demanding and accepting the bribe amount of Rs 12,000 and Rs 2,000 respectively.
The accused officers demanded a bribe for the issuance of a NOC, to forward remarks to the Warangal Commissioner of Police, and for establishing a new petrol bunk at Lingala Ghanpur Village.
The bribe amount of Rs 12,000 was recovered from the front left pocket of Hussain, while Rs 2,000 was recovered from the right-side lower drawer of the AEE office. The chemical test conducted on the hands of both officials yielded positive results.
Both officials were arrested and would be produced before the III Additional Sessions Judge for SPE and ACB cases, Warangal. Further investigation is on.

Residential school in Ranga Reddy
In another incident, the ACB officials caught V Prabhu Das, principal of Victoria Memorial Home Residential School, Saroor Nagar in Ranga Reddy district, when he demanded and accepted a bribe of Rs 29,000 from the complainant for showing official favour (as a reward for the given contract work and also processing the bill).
The bribe was recovered from the accused officer and the right hand fingers of the officer yielded positive in a chemical test. The accused officer was arrested and produced before the Special Judge for SPE and ACB cases, Court at Nampally, Hyderabad. Further investigation is on.
Panchayat secretary in Sangareddy
The ACB officials also caught Md Shakeel, Panchayat Secretary, Kondapur Village & Mandal, Sangareddy District, when he demanded and accepted the bribe amount of Rs 5,000 to issue a residence certificate.
