Anakapalle: A six-year-old girl was allegedly raped by her neighbor when she went to nearby fields to relieve herself in the Anakapalle district on Thursday night. The girl in injured condition was found near the fields. The girl was rushed to the Government Area Hospital at Narsipatnam, where her condition is said to be stable. The accused is a ganja and alcohol addict and has been in jail for three years.
The girl along with her elder sister had gone to the nearby fields on Thursday night to answer nature's call. Sai Kumar, the neighbor of the girls, followed them. He kidnapped the girl by beating her sister. He took her to nearby fields and raped her. The victim's sister immediately rushed to the house and narrated the entire episode to her parents. Parents found the girl with blood injuries. They approached the police seeking severe punishment for the accused.
"Based on the complaint from the victims' parents, we have formed three teams to nab the accused. The girl was undergoing treatment at the hospital, where her condition is said to be stable," said ASP Narsipatnam, V Manikanta.
