Andhra home guard arrested for outraging modesty of minor girl on Venkatadri Express
The accused T Prathap, Home Gurard-105 of Kodur Law & Order Police Station of AP, touched the victim inappropriately and outraged her modesty.

Hyderabad: Kacheguda railway police have arrested the home guard of Kodur Law & Order Police Station for allegedly outraging the modesty of a minor girl on Venkatadri Express.
According to the complainant, on May 28, he along with his wife and his 15-year-old daughter were traveling from Thirupathi to Kacheguda by Train No.12798 Venkatadri Exp (Chittoor-Kacheguda) in S3 coach. He said his daughter was sleeping in side upper berth and his wife was in the lower berth.
He said he noticed that accused T Prathap, Home Gurard-105 of Kodur Law & Order Police Station of AP, touched the victim inappropriately and outraged her modesty.
On receipt of the complaint, SHO Railway Police Kacheguda registered a case in Cr. No.100/2024 U/s 354 IPC, 9 r/w 10 POCSO Act-2012, and Sec. 147 Railway Act.
The arrested accused person is being produced before the court for judicial custody.
