Two unidentified persons opened fire and robbed Rs. 43 lakh from a realtor at the sub-registrar office in Siddipet on Monday.

Armed persons steal Rs. 43L from realtor in Siddipet, injure one

Siddipet: Two unidentified persons opened fire and robbed Rs. 43 lakh from a realtor at the sub-registrar office in Siddipet on Monday.

The realtor, Narasaiah, had come with his driver Parsharam to register a plot at the sub-registrar office. He collected Rs. 43 lakh from the buyer and gave it to the driver who put it in the car. While Narasaiah was inside the office signing the documents, two masked persons came on a motorbike (it had no number plate), smashed the windows of the car, and shot the driver in the thigh.

One of the masked persons pulled open the car door and stole the cash. However, while fleeing, they left the gun in the car. The police immediately rushed to the spot. They are collecting evidence and examining CCTV footage from in and around the crime scene.

Meanwhile, the injured driver was rushed to the government hospital in Siddipet.
