Asst Director of Telangana school Edu demands bribe to upgrade private school, nabbed

Hyderabad: The Anti-Corruption Bureau sleuths of Telangana trapped Bodla Srinivas- serving as an assistant director of private schools permission for accepting bribe of Rs 40,000.

The investigating agency, on 3rd of March laid a trap and caught the officer red-handed at the office of the Directors of School Education located at Saifabad.

According to the officials Bodla Srinivas demanded bribe from Neelam Shiva Shankar, manager of a private school to process the file for up-gradation from classes VIII and X. The sleuths caught the officer red-handed while he tried to deposit the money in the table shelve.

Bodla Srinivas was arrested and produced before the special court hearing ACB cases, the man has been pronounced judicial remand.

The Anti-Corruption Bureau appeals general public to lodge complaints against corrupt officials on toll free number 1064. The identity of the complainant will be concealed, officials assured.
