Balanagar Sub-Registrar, document writer arrested for accepting Rs 75000 bribe

Nizamuddin, Sub-Registrar, Balanagar, in Medchal-Malkajgiri District was caught when he accepted the bribe amount of Rs 75,000 from the complainant S Shaik Shareef through Zia Uddin, a document writer, Kukatpally.

He had demanded money for the registration of documents pertaining to the three shops purchased by the complainant and one shop purchased by his friend Matted Ali, ACB said.

ACB also recovered Rs.75, 000 was recovered from the possession of Shik Shareef. Nizamuddin, performed his duty improperly and dishonestly to obtain an undue advantage.

Nizamuddin and Zia Uddin were arrested and are being produced before the Principal Special Judge for SPE and ACB Cases, Hyderabad, the statement said.
