Balapur: Woman on her way to deliver son’s tiffin mowed down by auto

Hyderabad: A mother lost her life in a fatal accident in the Balapur area of Hyderabad on Monday while on her way to deliver a tiffin box to her son’s school bus driver.
Parveen Begum, a 35-year-old resident of Wade-e-Habeeb Colony in Shaheen Nagar, was walking towards Highway Hotel to deliver a tiffin box when she was hit by a goods auto.
The accident was caught on CCTV cameras and revealed that the driver was driving recklessly and negligently, resulting in the fatal collision that claimed Parveen’s life.
Parveen was supposed to pass the tiffin box to the bus driver of Alfalah School, who was supposed to pass it on to Parveen’s 9-year-old son Mohammed Wazair, a student at the school.
The Balapur police are currently investigating the accident and have registered a case against the driver of the goods auto. The driver is currently in custody as the investigation continues.
