Bhadrachalam: Hospital MNO suspended for molesting pregnant woman; police register case

Hyderabad: A Male Nurse Officer (MNO) working at the Government Area Hospital in Bhadrachalam was suspended after he allegedly molested a pregnant woman.
District Coordinator of Hospital Services (DCHS) Dr. Mukenteswara Rao said Lal Khan was suspended on the direction of Khammam District Collector D Anudeep.
"Area Hospital Superintendent K Ramakrishna filed a complaint against him after the issue came to light. The incident is said to have taken place on April 27," he said.
The accused allegedly molested the woman when she was undergoing surgery in the operation theatre.
Bhadrachalam police have filed a case against him. A detailed inquiry into the issue is currently being conducted, they said.
