Chandanagar: String claims life of 12-year-old boy; police register case

Hyderabad: A 12-year-old boy lost his life while playing with a string at Weaker Section Colony, Bhavanipuram on Saturday evening.
The victim was identified as Bissu Karma Kunal.
Chanda Nagar police station sub-inspector N. Sridhar said Kunal, a sixth-grade student, resided with his family in Bhavanipuram, Chandanagar. His father, Bissu Karma Ramji, makes a living as a carpenter.
The unfortunate incident occurred at around 7 pm on Saturday when Kunal was playing near a drying rack at his home. He was playing with a string, which, in a cruel twist of fate, entangled around his neck, leading to suffocation.
Neighbors who witnessed the scene alerted Kunal's parents. His parents immediately rushed him to the nearby hospital, desperately hoping for a miracle.
However, despite the best efforts of the doctors at the hospital, young Kunal could not be saved.
Chandanagar police have registered a case to determine the exact causes of the accident.
