Cheque bounce case: 1 year imprisonment to Bandla Ganesh by Ongole court
The court allowed Ganesh to go in for an appeal before a higher court within one month.

Ongole: Film producer Bandla Ganesh was sentenced to one year imprisonment and a fine of Rs 95 lakh in a cheque bounce case by the district court in Ongole on Wednesday.
In 2019, Ganesh had taken Rs 95 lakh from one person named Jetti Venkateswarlu of Muppalla village and gave a cheque for the same amount on behalf of Parameshwara Art Productions. However, the cheque was bounced when he approached the concerbed bank. He then lodged a complainant at the police station.
After hearing the arguments, the court sentenced Ganesh to one year of imprisonment and fine.
However, the court allowed Ganesh to go in for an appeal before a higher court within one month.
Bandla Ganesh is yet to respond to the verdict. More details on this case are awaited.
