Hyderabad: An employee of Coromandel International Ltd. turned out to be the kingpin in the robbery case where materials were stolen from the company. The sleuths of the LB Nagar central crime station along with the Adibatla police arrested three persons, including the kingpin, on 18 December.

The cops arrested Rapuru Dinesh Roy (27) who worked as a dispatcher in Coromandel International Ltd. and Natha Mukesh and Chikandi Shiv Prasad, both students. Dinesh's father Ramesh Babu was a zonal manager at the company and he had recommended his son for the job.

While working in the company's godown, Dinesh noticed that costly pesticide was stored then. He also observed that the security measurements were lax and there was no one monitoring the dispatch and stock. So, he hatched a plan with the other two and made a duplicate key of the godown. In the last two months, the gang had stolen 98 boxes of pesticide five times. The stolen property was stored in Mukesh home in Nizampet and Shiva's home in Secunderabad.

A case under 306, 381, 380 of the IPC has been registered against the three.
