Cyberabad police nabbed notorious interstate burglars, 36 tulas gold seized

Hyderabad: The Special Operation Team of Balanagar Zone Cyberabad Police Commissionerate nabbed a notorious interstate gangster along with his associate from Muradabad, UP on 21 November. The accused are said to be involved in seven house burglaries from which they have seized 36 tolas of gold.They are said to be involved in several property offenses in Goa, Maharashtra, Gujarat, Rajastahan, MP, UP, Delhi, Karnataka and AP States since 2017.

The accused - Faheem Ahmed, 35, and Mohammed Mursaleen, 39 – were residents of UP and were involved in glass cutting work. Faheem was earlier arrested in a firearms case and was jailed in Muradabad in 2013.

Faheem met Mursaleen in jail. Mursaleen was jailed for an attempt to murder and property offenses. In 2017, along with their associate Arif, who is currently absconding, they hatched a plan for breaking into houses. Using a car to move around whose number plates they kept changing, the trio robbed many houses in Alwal and Medchal PS limits. They would target houses in isolated colonies.

The police seized two country-made weapons, 36 tolas of gold, 36 gm of silver, 12 cell phones, and Rs 30,000 in cash.
