Debt-ridden cousin shoots dead realtor in Hyderabad; held
A 44-year-old realtor was arrested on Wednesday for allegedly killing his cousin at Srinivas Nagar.

The deceased was identified as Thota Vijay Bhaskar Reddy, a 48-year-old real estate dealer, of Srinivas Nagar, Alwal. The accused has been identified as 44-year-old Thota Narendra Reddy, a resident of Vasavi Nagar at Alwal.
"The complaint was filed by the deceased wife in Trimulgherry Police Station. She stated that the accused called his husband and asked him to come along for plot registration," said the police on Wednesday.
According to the police, the accused had a habit of borrowing money. For his livelihood, he worked as a real estate agent and cab driver. He was also reportedly facing a financial crisis.
The deceased had reportedly insulted the accused for supporting other parties. The accused nursed a grudge and decided to murder Vijay. He asked him to bring money for the plot registration.
On the way, Narendra stopped the car and shot Vijay. The accused also planned to eliminate P. Madhav, a resident of Alwal. Both were having a plot dispute, police said.
Police arrested the accused when he was planning to flee Hyderabad. Cops seized two pistols, three live rounds, two empty rounds, and Rs 7.2 lakh cash.
