Depressed over failed love affair, RPF constable ends life in Malkajgiri

Hyderabad: An RPF constable allegedly died by suicide under the Malkajgiri police station limits. The incident came to light on Monday.
Identified as Pavan Kumar, 34, from Uttar Pradesh, he had been missing since August 23.
According to Malkajgiri Inspector Satyanarayana, the deceased was posted in the 9th RPF Battalion. He was last seen performing his duties near East Anand Bagh.
After an extensive search, Pavan Kumar’s body was found in the rear area of the battalion's administration building. A failed love affair is said to be the reason for the extreme step.
The body has been sent to Gandhi Hospital for a post-mortem examination. An investigation is currently underway to determine the full circumstances surrounding his death.
