DigiTele employee in Jubilee Hills booked for diverting company funds to shell firms

Hyderabad: A senior employee of a city-based IT and drone services company has been booked by the Central Crime Station (CCS) police for allegedly defrauding his employer by creating fake invoices and diverting company funds through shell firms.

The accused, identified as Madan V Golagabathula, is alleged to have caused significant financial losses to DigiTele Networks Private Limited in Jubilee Hills.

According to a complaint filed by company representative Venkata Thota, Madan joined DigiTele in 2014 and was entrusted with key responsibilities including business development, billing, recruitment and project execution.

Over the years, he allegedly abused this position of trust to orchestrate a scheme for personal gain.

Accused used company infrastructure and staff to complete projects illegally

The complaint alleged that Madan secretly incorporated 9th Pixel Geosoft (OPC) Pvt Ltd and collaborated with another firm, Atree Solutions, owned by Chandra Murali. He then misrepresented both firms as official associates of DigiTele, using company employees and infrastructure to execute projects while routing payments to these private entities.

Between April 2022 and January 2025, 9th Pixel is said to have earned nearly Rs 2 crore, and Atree Solutions around Rs 28 lakh between September 2023 and June 2024, all through contracts fraudulently obtained using DigiTele’s name.
