Drug peddler caught with 70 gms MDMA worth Rs. 4.90L near Cyber Towers
Matam Veerendar (40) was peddling drugs near Cyber Towers junction under the limits of Madhapur police station. The police also seized from him a four-wheeler and mobile phone.

Hyderabad: The special operations team, Madhapur zone, and the Madhapur police arrested a drug peddler on Saturday and seized 70 grams of MDMA worth Rs. 4.90 lakh from him.
Matam Veerendar (40) was peddling drugs near Cyber Towers junction under the limits of Madhapur police station. The police also seized from him a four-wheeler and mobile phone.
Veerendar, a resident of Pedda Devaada village under Bichukunda mandal in Kamareddy district, procured the drugs from a supplier in Rajasthan. He bought MDMA from him for Rs. 1,000 per gram and sold it in Hyderabad for Rs. 6,000-7,000 per gram.
The main supplier Pradeep Sharma and his assistant Naresh Chowdary from Rajasthan are absconding.
