Duplicate consumer goods seized from Begum Bazaar shops; 3 traders held
They got in contact with agents who were supplying duplicate general consumer goods at a low price

The raided shops were RM General Store owned by Ramesh Kumar Parmar, Sri Saroj Agency owned by Hitesh Pawar and Sri Traders owned by Ramesh Kumar. The raids were done by the sleuths of the Commissionerās Task Force, Central Zone, along with copyright authentication field agents.
Case details
The teams found that the shops were illegally procuring and selling duplicate household items such as Good Night liquid (444 boxes), Gold Flash Combi Pack, Lizol liquid cleaner, Fevikwik (13440 sachets) etc. Customers were buying the goods assuming they were the original branded ones.
The accused have been identified as Ramesh Kumar Parmar (40), proprietor of RM General Store; Hitesh Pawar (22), owner of Sri Saroj Agency; and Ramesh Kumar (34), the owner of Sri traders.
Ramesh Kumar Parmar, Hitesh Pawar and Ramesh Kumar are from Rajasthan State and migrated to Hyderabad a few years ago. They started their trade in Begum Bazaar.
Their earnings were not sufficient, and they hatched a plan to earn easy money illegally. They got in contact with agents who were supplying duplicate general consumer goods at a low price. So they started illegally procuring and selling duplicate goods. They also used popular company-printed boxes and supplied duplicate items to other stores.
The accused along with seized duplicate material were handed over to SHO, Begum Bazar PS for further action.
