Engineering student dies in road accident in Narsingi; five others injured

Hyderabad: An engineering student lost his life in a tragic road accident after the car he was driving lost control and crashed into an electric pole at high speed.
According to Narsingi police, six first-year engineering students from MGIT Engineering College in Gandipet were traveling in a Swift car on their way home from college on Tuesday evening when the accident occurred near Rajapushpa Construction.

Sreekar (18), who was behind the wheel, died on the spot. The other five passengersāHema Sai (19), Vivek (19), Srujana (18), Karthikeya (18) and Harsha (19)āsustained serious injuries. Among them, Harsha is reported to be in critical condition.
Upon receiving the information, Narsingi police arrived at the scene, shifted the injured students to a hospital for treatment, and transported Sreekarās body to Osmania Hospital for postmortem examination.
