Hyderabad: A Telangana police home guard was injured after he was hit by a two-wheeler at Thondapalli toll plaza in Shamshabad, Hyderabad, on 1 February. Venkat Ramana sustained a fracture in his leg and was admitted to Sunshine Hospital in Gachibowli.
As seen in the video, he was asking a motorbike rider to stop at the toll plaza when the vehicle rammed his and fled.

"He sustained a leg injury and doctors are taking care of him. He is 70 per cent out of danger," said Ramana's sister.
The police have not yet made any arrests. "We are examining the CCTV footage around the toll plaza and we will take action accordingly," said the CI of Shamshabad.
