Eluru: Two children were injured after a helium gas balloon exploded in Agiripalli of Eluru district in Andhra Pradesh. They were taken to Vijayawada Government Hospital where they are said to be in critical condition.
According to the preliminary information, a helium gas balloon was tied with a rope on a restaurant building. As the helium gas in the balloon reduced, it fell on a chimney and exploded.
At the time of the incident, two childrenāMalin (11) and Mallika (6)āwere playing on the terrace near the chimney. They were injured when flames erupted from the chimney. A woman who went to help the children was also injured.
