Fake doctor of Sri Sai Venkateswara Clinic in Amberpet held
Raju with no valid medical qualifications, pretended to be a doctor, claiming to hold credentials from DNYS and PGDEMS

The accused, identified as Raju Gangaram Ankalap, was found operating a clinic under the guise of being a doctor, deceiving innocent patients and endangering their lives for illicit financial gain.
According to reports, Raju, a resident of Ramanthapur with no valid medical qualifications, pretended to be a doctor, claiming to hold credentials from DNYS and PGDEMS (Mumbai).
Under the guise of his clinic āSri Sai Venkateswara Clinicā in Amberpet, he reportedly conducted medical consultations and prescribed medications without proper diagnosis reports, thereby putting patients at risk. This is not the first time Raju has come under scrutiny, as a previous case was registered against him in 2023 for similar offences.
Upon receiving credible information, the Central Zone Task Force team acted swiftly, apprehending the fake doctor and seizing a significant quantity of medical items from his clinic. The seized items include Dispo Van injections, syringes, sterile water bottles for injections, a nebulizer machine, prescription books, a stethoscope, a weighing machine and other medical equipment.
Inspector N Rama Krishna, under the supervision of S Rashmi Perumal, IPS, DCP, led the operation, ensuring the accused and the seized items were handed over to the SHO of Amberpet Police Station for further legal action.
Inspector N. Rama Krishna said, āThe apprehension of individuals like Raju Gangaram Ankalap reaffirms our dedication to safeguarding the public from fraudulent activities that endanger lives. We commend the swift action taken by our Task Force team in ensuring that such individuals face the consequences of their actions.ā
As investigations continue, the authorities urge the public to remain vigilant and report any suspicious medical practices to law enforcement agencies. The case has been registered and the investigation is on.
