Fake educational certificates racket: 2 held in Amberpet with 84 fake certificates

The sleuths of Commissioner’s Task Force, South Zone Team along with Amberpet Police, raided the Xerox centre called MS Enterprises at Owaisi Nagar, Amberpet. At the centre, the two were caught providing fake SSC, intermediate and degree certificates and other fake documents to aspirants and collecting huge amounts from them.
The accused have been identified as Mohammed Mahfooz Iqbal @ Iqbal (41) and Shaik Ilyas Ahmed (34). As many as 84 fake certificates, judicial stamp papers and related digital equipment were seized from them.
Case details
Iqbal was running a Xerox centre at Amberpet and doing all types of online work. As his business was running in losses, he along with his friend Shaik Ilyas Ahmed hatched a plan to prepare fake educational certificates i.e. SSC, intermediate, degree and other documents to earn easy money.

With his knowledge of Photoshop, Iqbal, and Ilyas Ahmed acting as an agent, they would find people who would bring in candidates who need fake educational certificates. Iqbal would prepare the fake certificates by editing the name, roll numbers, marks, percentage and other details on the certificates. Iqbal and Iliyas were said to have been charging huge amounts from each candidate.
A case has been registered and further investigation is on.
