Fire breaks out at Hyderguda apartment, no casualties
A fire broke out in an apartment in Hyderguda in Rajendranagar in the city on Sunday. No casualties were reported.

The fire broke out on the fifth floor of plot 521, leaving all occupants of the apartment in a state of panic. According to officials, the occupants of the flat where the fire broke out were away for Sankranthi vacation and had locked the flat.

The residents of the apartment building ran out in fear. However, no one was inside at the time of the incident and a major accident was averted. Fire officials reached the spot and with the help of three fire tenders doused the flames.
As a precautionary measure, fire officials evacuated the residents of the building. Officials suspect that a short circuit might be the cause of the fire.
On Sunday, a fire at the Secunderabad Club had destroyed property worth Rs. 20 crore. While no casualties were reported, the main building of the club was completely gutted.
