Fire breaks out at Dino Park in Vizag; controlled in 30 minutes
The mishap occurred at Dino Park on RK Beach and the figurines made out of fibre and foam got burnt
By Newsmeter Network Published on 13 Aug 2024 10:35 AM GMTVisakhapatnam: A fire accident occurred here at Dino Park (Robotics Adventure walkway) filled with figurines made out of plastic, fibre and foam, a police official said on Tuesday.
A thick smoke engulfed the area when the fire broke out at the recreation centre and the incident triggered panic among the public.
However, there was no loss of life or injury as the park remains closed in the mornings, the official said, adding that the blaze was controlled in 30 minutes.

According to police, the fire broke out around 11.30 pm in the Dino Park which is a recreation centre housing horror house and robotic dinosaurs to enthrall the children in the city
āThe mishap occurred at Dino Park on RK Beach and the figurines made out of fibre and foam got burnt,ā Deputy Commissioner of Police Ajitha Vejendla told PTI, adding that police are investigating the cause of the fire.
Considering the combustible nature of those fibre and foam figurines, the blaze generated a large amount of smoke and flames. Officials are estimating that a short-circuit might be the reason for the fire broke out at the 'Dino Park' and are estimating the losses.
Two fire tenders rushed to the spot and doused the flames, Vejendla said. The police have registered a case.
