Five arrested for gang-rape of minor in Hyderabad

Hyderabad: A minor girl was forced to drink liquor and gang-raped in Hyderabad in Chathrinaka police station limits. Five people have been arrested and sent to judicial custody according to police officials.

The police officials stated that the girl is 15-years-old and went to a wholesale medical shop to buy medicines. She befriended a young women who told her that there was a wholesale shop where the medicines were available at a lower price.

She took the girl to a house in Kandikal, Boyaguda. There were three teenagers in the room and the police officials suspect that they had consumed ganja.

The girl was also forced to smoke hookah and later given a soft drink with alcohol. When she refused to drink, they forced her to consume the same. The girl started screaming but her sound was lost in the music which was being played in the house. The music system was turned up louder so that her screams could not be heard, stated the police officials investigating the case.

The girl came home in a soiled state and her mother took her to the police station to file a complaint.

Special teams were formed by DCP Sai Chaitanya and the accused were arrested from Guntur district. The incident occured on February 4th. The four boys and women fled after the incident. They were arrested from Guntur and have been taken into custody by the police.
