Hyderabad: The Hyderabad police busted a fake education consultancy racket at Banjara Hills and arrested one person on Monday.

On 28 June, sleuths of the commissioner's task force, north zone, raided Future Education Services in the limits of Krishna Nagar, Banjara Hills, and arrested 26-year-old Motla Seena Abhinay Naik of Ananthapur district in Andhra Pradesh. He had cheated about 15 students and collected Rs. 37,55,000 from them before disappearing. At present, three cases have been lodged at the Banjara Hills police station against Naik.

Earlier, Naik had worked for APEXE consultancy and cheated several students and parents on the pretext of providing admission to B.Sc, MSc agriculture and veterinary courses in reputed colleges in Hyderabad and Maharashtra through management quota. Three cases had been registered against him in 2015, 2017, and 2020 at Jubilee Hills, Dharmavaram in Anathapur, and Jeedimetla police stations.

Similarly, he had established Future Education Services in Banjara Hills to trap students by promising to get them admissions in various agriculture colleges. He was collecting around Rs. 4-5 lakhs from each. Later, he had changed his phone numbers and shifted his consultancy to another area to avoid getting caught.
