Guntur child abduction case cracked; police arrest woman, recover boy

Police have arrested the woman who abducted the six-year-old boy from Guntur Government hospital two days ago.
Police have also recovered the boy and handed him over to his parents.

The woman was also involved in the missing case of a 4-year-old boy in September.
M Prasad Rao (28) along with his wife and son Varshit (6) left Machayapalem village to get his pregnant sister admitted to the hospital.
After delivery on the same night, Rao and his family members were sleeping in the bay near the maternity ward.
On Thursday night, they found their boy was missing. They raised an alarm and lodged a police complaint.
Cops checked the CCTV footage and found the boy going out with an unidentified woman.
Speaking to News Meter, Guntur East Division Deputy Superintendent of Police Seetharamaiah, said: "The woman was involved in two kidnap cases. She has been giving away the babies to her relatives for money".
