HMDA Dy Conservator of forest caught with Rs 10.15 L bribe
The sleuths of Anti-Corruption Bureau, Telangana carried out surprise checks against a deputy conservator of forest and found unaccounted cash of Rs 10.15 lakh in the office premises.

Hyderabad: The sleuths of Anti-Corruption Bureau, Telangana carried out surprise checks against a deputy conservator of forest and found unaccounted cash of Rs 10.15 lakh in the office premises.
The ACB acting on specific inputs searched the office of Inapanuri Prakash, deputy conservator of forest, serving at the Hyderabad Growth corridor. The investigation agency has inputs that the accused was demanding and accepting bribes from contractors.
In a surprise search against Inapanuri Prakash, Dy.Conservator of Forest, Urban Forestry Wing, Hyderabad Growth Corridor, sleuths of Anti Corruption Bureau found Rs 10.15 lakh unaccounted cash in office premises. Searches held at the Nanakramguda HGC office resulted in seizer of Rs 10.15 lakh unaccounted cash.
Speaking to NewsMeter, a senior official with ACB said, "The team received inputs that the deputy conservator of the forest was demanding bribes from contractors who were entitled to the job to maintain the green belt in the urban forestry pocket. Following the trap, the officer could not explain the source of cash found in his chamber. The money has been seized".
