Hyderabad: The Neredmet police received a complaint on the morning of 6 December from a man who said his daughter and her friend had gone missing from his home. The two girls were studying and had left the house without informing anyone.
The Neredmet police formed a special team to trace the missing girls. They verified the CCTV footage and discovered that the missing girls had proceeded towards Safilguda railway station. They alerted the surrounding railway stations of Hyderabad and Secunderabad and gave them the descriptions of the two girls.
The cops contacted the Indian Railway technical services authorities and got to know that the girls had gone to Kazipet railway station, Warangal. The team proceeded there and found them at around 2 p.m on 6 December. The girls were handed over to their parents.
