Hyd police arrested two for murder of 33-year-old
Two persons were arrested on Tuesday for murdering a man in Rajiv Gandhi Nagar.

The victim was 33-year-old Ayyavari Kadapa Umakanth, a resident of Indira Nagar in Balapur mandal, Ranga Reddy district. The accused have been identified as Abboju Ravi and Edla Venkateshwarlu, both residents of Nalgonda district.
The police recovered the murder weapon, a knife, and the victim's cell phones from the accused.
According to the police, Umakanth was threatening Ravi and demanding money from him. On 29 August, Ravi called Umakanth to his residence in Rajiv Gandhi Nagar, Uppuguda, and stabbed him twice on his chest, killing him. Meanwhile, Venkateshwarlu kept watch outside the house. Later, they left the body in the room and escaped.
The two men were arrested when they returned to the room to check their belongings.
