Hyderabad: 2 inter-state burglars among 3 arrested; gold, silver worth Rs 24L recovered

The accused committed 41 offences within the limits of Hyderabad Commissionerate, Nizamabad, Maharashtra, and Karnataka since 2006. Police seized stolen goods worth Rs 24 lakh from their possession.

Hyderabad: 2 inter-state burglars among 3 arrested; gold, silver worth Rs 24L recovered

Hyderabad: City police have arrested three persons including two inter-state burglars and seized 430 grams of gold ornaments, 2.163 kg of silver ornaments, and Rs 20,000 cash.

On credible information, the sleuths of Commissioner's Task Force, East and South Zone teams along with Nallakunta and Marredpally Police apprehended Shik Mobin of Rachakonda, Avinash Aman Jogdekar of Borabanda, and Aftab Ahmad Shik of Saidabad on Sunday, police said on Monday.

The accused committed 41 offences within the limits of Hyderabad Commissionerate, Nizamabad, Maharashtra, and Karnataka since 2006. Police seized stolen goods worth Rs 24 lakh from their possession. The accused and seized goods were handed over to SHOs of Nallakunta and Marredpally Police Station for further action.
