Hyderabad: Building collapses after LPG blast at Medchal; 1 killed, 3 injured

Hyderabad: A pedestrian was killed and three others injured when a building collapsed due to an LPG cylinder blast in Medchal on Monday night.
The incident occurred at the home of former MPTC member Murali, located in the market area of the town under the jurisdiction of the Medchal police station. The blast sent building debris flying across the street, damaging the shutter of a shop opposite the house.
A passerby, whose identity has not yet been confirmed by police, was killed. The three injured have been identified as Thirupathamma, Rafiq, and Dinesh. They have been shifted to a private hospital in Kompally for treatment.
Police have registered a case and launched an investigation. CCTV footage reportedly captured the moment of the explosion and is being examined as part of the inquiry. Police continue efforts to identify the deceased and determine the full circumstances of the incident.
