Flier caught with 4.15 kg of hydroponic cannabis at Hyderabad airport
Hyderabad: The Directorate of Revenue Intelligence (DRI), Hyderabad Zone Unit, arrested a passenger at Rajiv Gandhi International Airport (RGIA), after seizing 4.15 kilograms of hydroponic weed, valued at approximately Rs 4.15 crore.
The interception was carried out on October 24-25 based on specific intelligence about drug trafficking.
Drugs hidden in luggage
During a systematic search, officers found packets of a greenish, lumpy substance concealed inside a false bottom of the passenger’s luggage. Preliminary tests confirmed it to be Cannabis.
