Hyderabad: A massive fire broke out at MN Polymers in Prashanth Nagar, Kukatpally on Sunday night, causing significant damage to the facility.

The factory manufactures paper plates and plastic glasses. According to preliminary reports, the blaze was triggered by a short circuit, which quickly spread to the raw materials and finished goods stored on the premises.

The fire broke out unexpectedly, making workers panic as they rushed to evacuate the building. Residents immediately alerted the fire department, which responded to the emergency.

Balanagar Fire Officer Jaganmohan reached the spot and supervised the rescue operations, ensuring the situation was handled efficiently.

Firefighters battled the flames for over three hours before successfully bringing the situation under control. Fortunately, no injuries or casualties were reported in the incident.

The factoryā€™s inventory, including raw materials and finished products ready for sale, was destroyed in the fire. The exact extent of the financial loss is yet to be determined, but officials estimate it to be substantial.
