Hyderabad: Footpath vendor stabbed to death for resisting phone snatching at Guddi Malkapur

Hyderabad: A footpath vendor was stabbed to death when he resisted a phone snatching attempt near Pillar No. 65 at Guddi Malkapur.

Identified as Sanaullah, the 24-year-old footpath vendor hailed from Muradnagar. Unidentified The assailants struck between 11:30 pm to 12 am and attempted to snatch Sanaullah's phone.

When Sanaullah resisted, the motorcycle-borne assailants stabbed him multiple times in his chest and shoulder before making a hasty escape.

Despite immediate medical attention at a nearby private hospital, Sanaullah could not be saved.

Upon being alerted, the Gudmalkapur Police reached the spot and started an investigation. Sanaullah's body was shifted to Osmania Hospital for a post-mortem.
