Hyderabad: AIMIM MLA Kausar Mohiuddin with the superintendent of police at Zaheerabad 

Hyderabad: A class X student was killed after she was hit by two men with a stone when she tried to save her father at Antharam village in Zaheerabad district.

The incident came to light when All India Majlis-e-Ittehadul Muslimeen MLA Kausar Mohiuddin visited Antharam village to meet the family of Aliya Begum who was allegedly stoned to death.

What happened?

Aliya Begum's father Mohammed Ismail was found urinating in the open fields near the residence of Veera and Vijay Reddy at Antharam Village, Kamkole, Zaheerabad. The Reddy brothers got angry and attacked him.

"The incident occurred on February 11. When the father was attacked, Aliya Begum rushed to save him. However, she too was attacked and suffered injuries. Aliya Begum was rushed to the hospital. After battling for life, she succumbed on February 15," said Kausar Mohiuddin.

After her death, there is a hue and cry raised in the village.

Police action

MLA Kausar Mohiuddin met the family and also the superintendent of police of the district urging them to take action against the culprits.

Villagers meet

The death of the young girl has caused a stir in the village. The villagers are upset as these issues could be resolved with a meeting. The local leaders are demanding justice for the victim and trying to understand what was the provocation for the attack.

Legal aid

All India Milli Council of Telangana visited the family and also assured them of legal aid. The legal team Adv.Afsar Jahan along with Adv.Sujaath, Imad Ali and Mohd Zubair advised them not to accept any compensation and not get scared by any threats to the family. The team has also written a complaint and submitted to the Superintendent of police, Sangareddy to take serious legal action and not let the perpetrators escape at any cost.



The team also visited the Sangareddy Court and made a representation to the public prosecutor and requested to ensure that the accused Vijay Reddy and Veera Reddy do not escape easily by availing bail in this murder case where the entire village was eye witness to the incident.
