Fatherās shocking discovery
According to police, the girlās father, a bike mechanic, returned home to pick up food for his son. Instead, he found his daughter lying dead on the cot with stab wounds. He immediately alerted the Kukatpally police.
Police swing into action
A dog squad and a clues team were pressed into service, and the body was shifted to Gandhi Hospital for a postmortem. Police have launched a thorough probe to identify the assailant and reconstruct the sequence of events.
The girlās mother, who works as a lab technician, had prepared food and instructed her daughter to deliver it to her younger brotherās school. However, the teacher informed her that the food never reached him. This discrepancy prompted the father to go home, leading to the shocking discovery.
No CCTV, restricted access
The family lives in a penthouse without CCTV surveillance. A notice board at the entrance of the building prohibits delivery personnel from entering, requiring residents to collect items themselves. Police are probing how the assailant managed to gain access despite the restrictions.
Investigation focuses on known persons
So far, the parents have not named any suspects. Investigators are examining CCTV footage from surrounding areas and suspect that the killer may have been someone familiar with the familyās movements, given the restricted entry into the building.
