Recently, Anusha, a customer, placed an order worth Rs 50 lakh. When Radhika contacted Anusha for delivery, she said she was at a relative's house in Madhuranagar.
Later Radhika sent the jewelry to Anusha's location through her driver Srinivas (28) and salesman Akshay (30). Upon reaching Maduranagar, Akshay delivered the diamond jewelry to Anusha at the house.
When Akshay was delivering the jewelry to Anusha, Srinvas drove the car away. It contained diamond ornaments worth Rs. 7 crore. The jewelry was supposed to be returned to the Sirigiri Raj Gems and Jewellers at Banjara Hills.
Police suspect that Srinivas had meticulously planned the robbery. He had timed the delivery of the jewelry. As soon as Akshay left the car with the jewelry, Srinivas quickly ran off.
Akshay immediately informed Radhika and lodged a complaint with the Sanjeeva Reddy Nagar police station. Police are analyzing the CCTV footage to track down Srinivas.
