Hyderabad: Speeding lorry hit Rapido bike; woman en route to hospital killed

Hyderabad: A 45-year-old woman was killed after a lorry collided with the Rapido bike near Mossapet Metro Station. According to Kukatpally Police, Jenny Dilma was on her way to visit her mother at ESI Hospital, Sanath Nagar. She had booked a Rapido bike from her residence in Asbestos Colony, Jagadgirigutta.

The speeding lorry hit the bike and ran over Dilma. She died on the spot. Following a complaint filed by Dilma's husband, a case has been registered against the lorry driver. He has been identified as Mahesh. He has been charged with negligent and rash driving leading to death.
