Hyderabad: Man gives ride to woman; she threatens to undress, extorts Rs 25k

Hyderabad: A 45-year-old private employee was blackmailed and robbed of Rs 25000 after a woman he gave a lift threatened to undress at SNT Junction.
Around 5:30 PM on Sunday, a 35-year-old woman wearing a mask and glasses approached Gutti Jangaiah seeking a lift. Reluctantly, he agreed. The situation took a frightening turn near Mugdha Signal.
The woman insisted that Jangaiah accompany her to a room, a request he refused. Shockingly, she took control of his vehicle and demanded money. Initially resisting, Jangaiah claimed he was forced to give her ₹50.
The situation escalated as she took his phone and demanded more money.
Under pressure, Jangaiah withdrew ₹25,000 from an ATM near SNT Junction, handing it over to the woman. She took the motorbike key and continued her demands. In a distressing turn, she threatened to undress if he didn't comply.
Fearing trouble, Jangaiah complied until he had no more cash. At this point, the woman returned the bike key and asked to be dropped off at the SNT Bus Stop, bringing an end to the harrowing ordeal.
In response to the complaint, Banjara Hills police registered a case under section 384 IPC against the unknown woman and are currently investigating the matter.
