Hyderabad: Miscreants attack mobile repair shop over pending payment at Ameerpet; 7 held

According to Sanjeeva Reddy Nagar police, Nikesh Kumar, the owner of a mobile repair shop in Nilgiri Block, Aditya Enclave, Ameerpet, had an altercation with Akhil (26) over pending payment.
Hailing from Kukatpally, Akhil used to bring mobile phones to Nikesh Kumar's shop for repairs. After taking the displays of two phones without payment, Akhil brought another phone for repair. However, Nikesh Kumar insisted on payment for the previous repairs before accepting the new job.
On Monday evening, Akhil, accompanied by six friends, visited Nikesh Kumar's shop in Nilgiri Block and engaged in a violent altercation. Shasikumar and Mukesh Kumar, employees at the shop, were injured and severely beaten with screwdrivers and other tools. Additionally, the shop's equipment was extensively damaged.
Following the incident, Nikesh Kumar filed a complaint with the police. Upon reviewing CCTV footage, the police registered a case against Akhil and his six associates under Sections 118(1), 324(4), and 351(3), read with Section 190 of the BNS Act. All seven individuals were arrested and sent to remand, said Sanjeeva Reddy Nagar Inspector Srinath Reddy.
